It's interesting to hear you say that because the Volvo's are pretty popular and put in some very expensive boats. I'd personally never own one because I am well aware of their less than stellar reliability.

I'm curious about the Merc corrosion problems, is it just that the cathodic protection is not sufficient or a matter of having the right type?
