There should be none taken. There are many reasons that Laconia BW has become NH bikeweek, this is high on the list.
The SP and Chief Adams should try to visit Myrtle Beach bikeweek down Murrels Inlet, SC area. Murrels is home to all of the bike bars and many other cool waterfront restaurants. The police (like in NH it is a mix of state and local officers) are polite and welcoming yet firm when needed.
