www.watervillevalley.org and click on ice arena ..... the WV Ice Arena is currently closed as the season ended on about March 31, but the Ice Arena re-opens on about July 1 for the summer season. The rink is huge, has incredibly smooth excellent ice, and the building stays about a cool dry 45-degrees all summer long...plus it is located next to Corcoran's Pond which has a public swim beach, and kayak-pedal boat rentals. It is truly nice to see what about three million dollars of well-spent, and well-planned money can build there for an indoor ice arena ...... go WV!
It hosts a number of different skaters in the summer, including some figure skating summer camps, ice hockey camp sessions for some very serious Canadian teams, the New England Wolves, and public skating for about 5-dollars.
