Picked up the local papers, and in the Laker under Spencer Hughes listing number MLS4421242 was my uncle's property for sale again. 1.3 boy his second trophy wife would be salivating over that number, she gave it away for 780 in October of 2008. It is my understanding that it has been a rental since it left the family hands, but it shows you where the RE market is going lakefront!
I simply can't discuss what my uncle paid for it from a gentleman by the name of Wilson back in 1954. My kids have memories there, but they will never have the same opportunities that I have and had. Where are we going America?

Man, do I agree with all you have said.....I can discuss the $3600 in 1939 or the $3900 in 1936 that was paid for our little spot over on Spindle Point.....(nobody is sure which one it was, but it was one of the two).......sold for $400K in 1994......would be at least $1.5 for the 150ft of shore line......Where ARE we going??
