Asphalt calculation. Here is a handy little tool for you to give yourself a guesstimate of what your driveway should cost.

Figure out your driveways dimensions. So for example 12'x60'= 720 sf convert to square yards so /9 = 80 square yards. Now multiple by . 057 this is how much one square yard one inch thick weighs in tons. So 4.56 tons so for a typical 3 inch this driveway multiply by thickness 13.68 tons of Asphalt, you will pay a premium for low tonnage like this right now. Probably between 120-220 bucks per ton.
