Default Call me cheap

I often will make my own blocks of ice. Back when we drank more milk than we do now, we had took half gallons and filled them with water and froze them. After we cut way down on our milk consumption, we simply took quart size zip bags, filled them and froze them.

Also have friends who take meatloaf tins, line them with plastic wrap, freeze them, and then put the pans in warm water for a short period to unmold them.

Having an upright freezer helps .

Of course, you can always call Laconia Ice and see who is selling blocks of ice... oh, that was already suggested.
