Unfortunately the boat is being winterized and I'm having some work/mods done to it at this time. I'm familiar with a 19' bowrider once owned by my late father-in-law, and my only experience with the new 28 footer was during the sea trial before purchasing. It's going to be a long winter but the anticipation over the next 7 months or so will make it even more enjoyable at launch time next spring.

I look forward to soliciting advice from the folks on this forum as I establish my sea legs with this new class of boat. From my limited experience thus far on this forum my early impression is that you folks are a great group of people and an invaluable resource to boaters of all experience levels.
