I saw in the Citizens an article states about 300 independent gas stations in NH may close due to the high cost of keeping up with new regulations. The Mobil Station on Court Street in Laconia was operated faithfully by a mentally challenged man and his wife. He had to shut down because he could not compete with the chains such as Cumberland Farms and Irving who can afford the upgrades. If the feds wants to keep jobs and grassroots business, they need to step up to the plate and help out, not bow to the lobbyists of big businesses.
