Parking along Ocean Blvd is permitted. Pretty much anywhere between Wallis Sands Parking lot and Petey's Seafood Restaurant.
Petey's has decent seafood, but if you are looking for a lobster roll head further south to The Beach Plumb.
Another option is Jenness Beach in Rye, meter parking, but it tends to get crowded on weekends.
