Why not charge or replace the battery ,roll the dice and fire it up?
Do it right on the trailer with some flusher "muffs" and then run some carb cleaner or gas treatment through it.
Worked for me once with an outboard that had been sitting for two years.....hey,you never know, and if it doesn't work you've still got the option of following all the other suggestions.
