Having been in that area for 10 years I witness a lot of "Thru traffic" so to speak use that route as a direct from Lakeport to the channel while others bend the islands who are staying in the bay or the vicinity. I also fish the back side of those islands. plenty of room, but as said there are those that travel too close to the mooring fields while underway, when they should be 150 feet away from the mooring field markers.

be that as it may 300 feet or 150 feet away the wake is still traveling that way
