See now, if that deer had been properly equipped with a pair of ice-gripper self-rescue picks he wouldn't now be a dead and floating upside-down-in-the-water lunch for some hungry eagle. Can remember seeing a similar photo of a moose in Moosehead Lake with one eagle munching away. Hey, maybe someone wants to run out there and deliver a bottle of soy sauce for the eagle?
