Curious if anyone knows the thickness of the ice from West Alton mainland to Sleepers Island? I would like to walk out there at some point this winter and was wondering also where I should park on shore to walk out? Do people usually park at the marinas (West Alton) or are there better places? Do the marinas mind if we do this? Just asking for walking access, not for vehicles or snowmobiles.
