However the new modems with Wi-Fi has a very weak Wi-Fi signal. Rather then go out and purchase Wi-Fi extenders that Metrocast tech support ask me to do. I shut off the the modem's Wi-Fi and bought a Liksys wi-fi router. Much better! And the router is about the same price as the extender!

Also Docsis 3.0 modems are around $40 on line. In five months it pays for itself!

Now if I can replace the antique Pacer DTA with analog sound.............
