Thanks for posting this cautionary tale. I agree the waters are muddy and that we should drive defensively. But after reading 3X, I'm not nearly so sure that this is he said/she said, or that it's the courts that did the muddying.

Myers was obviously trashed, and most likely speeding and driving without a light. Stowe (maybe) got a bit confused in the situation caused by Myers. Then Myers's friend sues for $2MM for a torn rotator cuff. Seems like all the bad behavior came from one boat, and then the same boat has done all they could to take advantage of our good but imperfect system.
