I'd be interested to find out. Last summer I spoke with someone on the lake who runs pontoon charters. He told me that there is a lic for over 40' boats. And you basically have to goto marine patrol and demo you can run a boat that size. He said it would qualify you for the Mount. I'm not sure i believe all that.

I'm familiar with USCG licensing. I'm just wondering how it applies to the lake and larger boats there. Or maybe they have their own licensing system.
