By the way, not to hijack the thread - the final plan is to get a mainland waterfront place (probably not on Winni because the prices are totally out of sight), and sell the house in Mass. Live there in the summer, and Denver in the winter. Not a traditional winter destination, but the winters there are a heck of a lot easier than the winters here !

I think you made the right choice, on the flipside it is always hard to let paradise go... Hope your retirement is a good one.
