Laconia will be celebrating 125 years as a city next year. To commemorate this milestone, a book compiled and written by Warren D. Huse has been completed and may be ordered on line or through the Laconia Daily Sun. Over 250 photos were selected for inclusion - some came from residents, past and present, and some from the files of the Laconia Historical & Museum Society and the Laconia Public Library. It is a hard- cover, 160 page book and contains written text, as well as the photos in its seven chapters.

Warren has incredible knowledge concerning Laconia’s past, having been the historical columnist at the Laconia Citizen and presently with the Laconia Daily Sun, for a total of 27 years. With his background and journalistic skills, I believe it will be well-worth purchasing a copy.
