"Since Peasukee controlled the land, air and water, he caused a great upheaval of the land so that he could live with Winnie. The upheaval caused the McDude River to change course and not connect with the lake. Therefore Winnie could not return to the Atlantic by the way she came. The lake water to flow north of Peasukee’s mountain and Winnie did not know where the water went."

It's too bad that Pesaukee did that to the river because the Lobsters would have been able to swim to Waldo Peppers all by themselves

.....and you know that the railroad isn't there anymore either. What about those land-locked lobstahs that arrived from the ocean with Winnie?

BTW FLboater...next time you see Winnie and Pesaukee would you ask them how they got to Florida with the mcdude river being closed and all?
I'm sure Pepper will have plenty of lobsters. Regretfully, I won't be able to join you all that day but don't let that stop you from having a good time!
I'll stop in and see you, Pepper, when all of these other throngs of people aren't around and I can get my hug (s) (s)...

with no interruptions!
Have a great time! McD
