Default Right on rte 28 just north of the Alton Circle...

...and is now the home of American Legion Post 72. After it was the Edgewood, I believe the name changed slightly to "White's Edgewood Restaurant."

I have oh so many fond memories of that restaurant, starting with my one year of going to Brewster Academy in 63-64 school year (bus from Mass always stopped there, so I always had enough for a hamburger and a coke) right up to the end in the 90's. It was a favorite with my parents, and a lot memories of my Dad kidding with a waitress named Peg B. . Dad passed away in 1988, but Peg remained a good friend to my Mom til Mom died in 2000. Sadly, Peg passed away just a few months ago.

Oh yes, good food, good service, good prices, good place for families.
