Have never seen a barge like that powered by two stroke 250hp Evinrude e-tecs. Seems like the Lake Winni construction barges go with Honda which is a four stroke and probably has way more torq than a two stroke. Tow strokes are notoriously not very torqy which translates to not enough pushing power.

What does the Coast Guard use on their patrol boats? CG uses Honda.

Maybe a tugboat powered by a diesel towing The Dive on a tow line could be doable?
