Actually, the sink/floatability buoyancy for the human body works just the opposite. Fat people are much better natural floaters than thin people who are usually sinkers …… so ….. fat floats and thin sinks. People with a higher body mass index are more natural floaters than the low bmi thinner person ….. and thin people have to work harder to tread water.
