jrc - I couldn't agree more with your suggestion to "find an alternate route"! The lanes are extremely narrow, and my last trip over the bridge nearly resulted in the driver's side being peeled away by a nutcase driving a honda accord and going 50mph in the opposite direction. Heart in my throat!!!

As if that's not enough, the surface of Route 3 from there to Tilton is atrocious! The potholes and patches make for treacherous travel, and will result in the need for many repair bills and alignments.

If I owned a business on that stretch of road, you can bet your bottom dollar I'd be on the phone and writing letters to the State. I sure hope some sort of repairs are scheduled for that road - it's sorely needed.
