I certainly would tell your neighbor. I can't imagine he would want thirty people if he told you only 10-12 were allowed. As Maxum said the other issues are legal and if the owner doesn't speak to them you have every right to contact the authorities. You shouldn't have your vacation ruined. Isn't it funny how some people can be so great and others so awful? There seem to be two different types of people in the world today.
