Try Barton's in Laconia (603-524-5674)....... nice and clean (tho a little "retro" in design, but the parents may appreciate that!), and quiet, and very reasonable rates! They have rooms as well as cottage-type units (with a 3-night minimum), you can dock the boat there as well as keep the trailer there. It's owned by an older couple, and they run the place very well. They don't have a launch, but the boat can be launched at Lakeport Landing, not too far away. As far as the Margate goes, it's not all that great shakes as far as cleanliness, last I knew; it also can be quite the hike from the parking lot to the room. Last time I stayed there was about 12-14 years ago, and at that time they charged $50 a night to dock the boat overnight!
