In Paugus Bay there's a popular sandbar down in front of the Margate Hotel where you might see 20 - 30 boats on any given weekend day. From there it's a 2 minute boatride to Burger King that has plenty of public dockspace. Or you could just wade ashore and go into the Margate for lunch or the facilities.
