Official Statement
With all the uncertainty that the COVID-19 situation has created, we’re sure you’ve been wondering about the status of this year’s Winni Derby and we appreciate your patience in waiting for this announcement. With the State of New Hampshire “Stay-at-Home” order and the ban on non-essential hotel lodging scheduled to lift May 4th, we were hoping to go ahead. Unfortunately, the increasing possibility that those orders may be extended and the associated uncertainty has created a situation that leaves us little choice but to cancel this year’s tournament and start planning for next year.
You have a choice of three options of how you would like the Daniel Webster Council, Boy Scouts of America (producer of the Derby), to handle the registration fees you have paid:
Roll over your registration to the 2021 Winni Derby, scheduled for May 14-16, 2021.
Daniel Webster Council will keep your payment and you will be automatically registered for the 2021 Winni Derby when registration opens in December at no additional cost. (If you have registered multiple anglers, each one of them will be re-registered for 2021.)
Request a refund of the 2020 Derby registration fees you have paid.
Credit will be issued back to the card you used to pay for your original registration.
Convert your registration fee to a tax-deductible donation that will support Scouting in New Hampshire.
Daniel Webster Council serves nearly 9,000 youth each year with character-building outdoor programs. Scouting gets kids outdoors and teaches them skills that prepare them for life. It also helps grow the next generation of sportsmen and women! Your gift will help us reach more youth and strengthen our outdoor programming.
Please indicate your choice by clicking the survey link below.* Whichever option you select, please know that we appreciate your support of the Winni Derby and we hope to see you in 2021!
