The Laconia Citizen,

It lost out to the
www.laconiadailysun.com, a free paper, because it is free and costs 50-cents less than the Laconia Citizen which used to cost 50-cents.
Basically, the lakes region lost out on its real newspaper because people would rather take a free paper than pay for a 50-cent paper ..... or something like this!
