Too bad there aren't any buoys that measure wave height on the lake. It would be cool to see what they actually were. People tend to overestimate what they actually are, in the boat I was in, the 3' waves were coming right over the front of the boat, actual 5-6' waves would have been hitting me in the windshield!

Sounds like sea state 3-4, not just 3' waves.
