i stayed there for a few nights several years ago
when a tree fell on my cabin rendering it uninhabitable. i needed to stay in the area to coordinate the rebuild.. it was fine. Very "motel-like", ie it could be a motel 6 anywhere - once you're inside and don't experience the waterside setting. it was clean enough. i do recall a lot of noise coming through from guests on the upper floor (i was on a lower level), so i presume the space between floors isn't well insulated acoustically. if a hotel is what you want, then this is OK. an alternative would be a private cabin or one of the cottage colonies (lodges) that are in the area. These offer more of an "On Golden Pond"-type experience. Whatever floats your boat...
