Center Harbor Inn is perfectly OK. On the plus side, it's got a nice little sandy beach, boat docks can be rented overnight (if there are any available), docking for picking up and discharging passengers is available and it's centrally located.

Its more of a motel than a hotel... by that I mean that all rooms open out to balconies or walkways, no services like bell hops or anything. In the past few years they have upgraded things like furniture, carpeting and drapes. But I think the bathrooms are old. New owners or managers in the past couple of years have done a lot of upgrades.

As these kinds of places go it's perfectly servicable. We've rented rooms there on various occasions over the past few years for friends and family visiting us (we'd be staying overnight on our boat).

If you're looking for more of a hotel there are 4 or so super hotels in downtown Meredith. None really have beaches or access to the lake although they are right near it. but they have excellent restaurants and are in the town so that you can walk places.
