On our way out for supper tonight, in a pretty good rainstorm, and about 50 ft off our property on a tree overhanging our road was a very large bird, sitting on a limb. Turned around and got a pretty good look at it, and it seemed it was a vulture (featherless head). Turned back around, tooted the horn, yelled at it through an open window, and it continued to sit there not getting any wetter. Me, on the other hand, got my head and glassed pretty wet. I was hoping to see it fly to get a look at the size, but alas, it let me down, or was too smart for me...personally, I'll take the former .
