We live about 2 miles down the road from the Pineview and were really pleased to see a restaurant open up, especially for breakfast. The closest breakfast spots are Wolfeboro (pricey) and Moultonborough (Country kitchen is hard to beat but crowded). We have been to Pineview twice for breakfast and have been very disapointed. The food is pretty good but the coffee is weak. The problem we had is that both times it took 25-30 minutes to get our breakfast once it was ordered. After the first visit, we figured they would work out the bugs and things would improve but it didn't. During both visits we overheard several patrons complaining about the long wait. The dining room was not crowded either time so they should have been able to handle the meals that were ordered. The wait staff was very apologetic.
I hope they can work out the problems or they won't survive off-season. The locals will probably avoid the place. We will probably give it one more try in another month.
