Pretty sure the fine is still $60 - and I do believe they can take your fishing equipment as well. At least that's the rumour that F&G has passed along and something I've always believed. Also, when a parent takes their child fishing, the parent cannot cast, change the bait or take the fish off for the child without having a license.

And no, you cannot fish in the lake from your own property without a license. Have close-to-personal experience with this one!
