Default wind

We watched from our dock as a storm with great bolts of lighning blew over the Ossipee Mts and a half hour later a storm came over us. For 10-15 minutes the wind and rain were intense. Loud. I don't know how trees were left standing. One tree got uprooted and landed across rt 25, just a litttle past Patrician Shores, causing a long backup in traffic. DPW was there within the 1/2 hour and made quick work of it.. It is still all just lying on the side of the road. A large pine tree in Brookhurst was struck by lightning down by the water front causing a split from top to bottom that now you can see directly through the tree. Amazing more damage wasn't reported.
