Default This was our 2nd trip to Loudon

We came down from Meredith. We left at 10;30 am and went straight thru Rte 106 no traffic at all. We have found a solution to the parking dilema at Loudon it is called a Harley Davidson. There is a separate lot directly across from the ticket booth- main entrance- it is the easiest in -easiest out we could imagine. We left the track when the race concluded... 10 minutes out the front gate and took a right passed all the buses directly back to Meredith thru Laconia. We were back in Meredith at 5:15... we expected alot more traffic than we encountered. But having the bike lot near the front gate is so simple. I was also amazed with the maze of parking lots that are involved at Loudon. They do seem to have it down to a science. But moving 100,000 people can never be simple. What a site it was. A sea of humanity all heading in two directions. Thankfully most of them were going in the opposite direction from us. The only scary part was being on a bike surrounded by people in cars who had been drinking wagons full of beer all afternoon. We saw some real bone head moves on the road and in the stands. But thankfully they werent near us. Only sporting event I have ever been to that every single adult can bring in a 19in cooler stocked with alcohol. The weather was great - the race was exciting and hopefully everyone got home safely.
