By the way, best grass seed out there is LS-2 (Lawn Seed 2) and it's available at Cameron's on Rte. 11 in Farmington (and likely elsewhere also). Germinates in five days.
I hope you have no fertilizer near the shore. Did you know you can buy blueberry sod? Much friendlier to the lake. I would certainly not brag about starting a shoreside lawn.
