You no longer have to say "if you say so", or "if that's what you want to do", or "I don't care...whatever you want is fine with me". No siree, you can put your foot down firmly, look her squarely in the eye, and in your most manly, demonstrative, and authoritative voice, because of the power thereby invested in you at the nuptials, can state without any equivocation: " Yes Dear!".
You shall be the boss of the family, the CEO of the relationship, and will continue to be able to do so as long as she continues to give you permission to say so and do so. You know, big decisions like going to war, paying the taxes, mowing the yard (that one can be iffy...you don't think it needs it, but she does. When in doubt, see the last two words in paragraph 2.)
