I've always hated all kinds of fungi...so now it looks like they're shooting back at me!
Well, this certainly explains the problems we had with teeny black spots all over 3 different cars (all parked on bark mulch on the north side of our house). The spots do indeed come off...all it gakes is hours and hours of scrubbing with bug and tar remover...and lotsa elbow grease.
I only wish this thread had been started early enough to save the perfectly innocent tree I cut down, mistaking it for the culprit.
