Thanks for the suggestions.

Before I posted, I went on Jenn Air's website and learned that they no longer manufacture or can provide this part. The Jenn Air island insert we have is about 25 years old.

I went on EBay and found a possible replacement. However, the pictures did not show the location of the insertion plug. I contacted the seller to ask for more info, but he never responded to my inquiry.

I also went to the Baron's Appliance store. A nice salesperson checked online for me, but could not find the part.

I'll keep looking, but the alternative is to have the griddle resurfaced/recoated.
