Default Hypoothermia and Fog may lead to disorientation

May have been a shift in weather from the summit and then in the fog disoriented. In the fog, the railroad may not have been visible. With high humidity and cool temps added to the wind, hypothermia can occur quickly, leading to further disorientation.
