CT doesn't get much snow anymore, and I do like that, but I also miss snow too. I just don't like it when it turns brown and stays on the roads for weeks on end. We actually got such little snow last year that we would watch the weather in NH and head north when it looked like there was going to be a big storm because we missed not having any here.
Most of my family has packed up and moved south, and only my dad is left in the state, and he's going to move and live with us. I'll like that. We'll be moving near to where my wife's parents live, so she'll get to see them more often, which will be good for her.
The one thing I'm worried about are the FL boaters. They, ummm...seem to be in a different league than New England boaters. From watching YouTube videos, many don't seem to have much dock etiquette or experience, and they certainly don't lend a hand when someone needs help.
Hopefully, we can bring some of the northern hospitality to the area and have a positive effect.
