Of course, you cannot compare the quality of a steak tip to a filet but compared to most other cuts I typically prefer a decent steak tip.
Throw them in a ziplock bag with some olive oil to coat them then some Montreal seasoning. I put them in the Blackstone griddle (coated with Bacon Up of course!) and they come out great. Doesn't matter if they are Hannaford's, Walmart or BJ's.
My go to cut though is Teres Major. It is a lean, tender cut that is like a large tip. A friend is a restaurant owner and can order it for me by the 20 lb case at prices comparable or cheaper to grocery store tips.
