Mass is vigorously trying to get rid of every last green plate. They are telling inspection stations to fail vehicles if that green plate is not pristine. Many of those green plates are faded from being out in the sun for many years. Of course, there are those few little old ladies that only drive to church on Sundays and their car is in the garage most of its life!
