I once hired a painter to paint a ceder shingled house. One side was peeling really bad, so the guy took an orbital grinder to it. He ruined one whole side of the house.
The house has since been vinyl sided.

I actually hired a roofer that I knew from Mass to come to NH to roof my house. He gave me an estimate by looking at the house on google maps. I got a dumpster dropped off. He came up with a large crew, completed it in one day and did it cheaper than anyone up here! |
Paint a cedar shingled house? A good painter will steer you away from paint and recommend stain. This would have been a good time to walk away!
