We purchased a Rave Aqua Jump 15’ in 2016. We previously had a wooden swim float which was later replaced by a fiberglass one. Ducks were a constant problem on the swim float. Never had any duck issues on the water trampoline. The trampoline is certainly a lot more work than a swim float,
When we bought the trampoline, our grandchildren were obviously much younger than they are today. I will say it was a huge hit for many years. However, as the grandchildren got older with some off to college, it was used less and less. But when it is used, it is still a big hit. Company loves it.
Do we regret buying it when we did? Absolutely not. However, several cautions. We do the installation and removal ourselves, with help from family. Not terribly difficult as long as you follow the instructions to the letter. Consider where you will store it deflated during the winter. We did have a new 500 pound mooring block dropped in the lake and never had any issues with it moving. Despite being heavy duty material, it is subject to leaks. While we were exceedingly careful, since 2016 our trampoline developed leaks twice. There are no local repair places. Rave formerly offered a repair service at their factory, but that has been discontinued. It is exceedingly difficult to find any leaks unless they are large. We were never able to do so. There is a company in Florida that offers a repair service, but it is not cheap and you have to send the trampoline to them so the shipping (we used UPS) is also not cheap and it takes a long time to get it back so if you discover the leak in May, you may not have it back for several months and there goes the summer. After the latest leak we had it repaired and it is now in the water and working fine. However, if it develops a leak again, we would think long and hard about having it fixed.
