let's hope it turns into a bill, and let's further hope that it passes. I am not a "car guy", never was in high school, not while I was working, and certainly not now, so I have relied on the good-faith inspections of local garages and dealers
to at least advise me of potential issues with my vehicle. I don't think I am alone in this situation. Now, with virtually no knowledge of car mechanicals, I am essentially driving at my own risk - not a good situation. I was one of those drivers who relied heavily on the inspection system and advice of the local mechanic, so now I am "on my own" (not a good thing for me, nor for other drivers).
