Yes I have seen the behavior.... some of the things are really quite humorous... like when the count the hours below freezing... not days, hours....we had I think about 50ish hours last winter below zero, and at 36 the news started freaking out.....

It is all in what you are used too, I still get puzzled looks every time I am asked when I will put the boat away for the winter.... Last year I boated at least once every month.... very weird feeling boating in February.....
