My buddy still works, so the dog is home alone all day. Not a good situation for this breed (or any dog IMO).
So the dog is acting out…in negative ways.
This breed needs to work 8-10 hrs/day. They are working dogs, not pets.
I don’t know the lineage, but the dog came from overseas. They did a lot of research and paid $$$.
I don’t know how this is going to end. I would like to see him donate the dog to LEO.

It sounds like there are many factors at play here. But a huge red flag is the fact that his dog is being left home by himself all day long. As you mentioned yourself these are working dogs and require a fair amount of both mental and or physical stimulation. I would be willing to guarantee that is definitely a factor in why some of this behavior is occurring. IF he ever does decide to rehome the dog. Please tell him to post his intention to do so in the following thread over on reddit rather than just dropping the dog off at a local shelter.
