I’ve never heard of an insurance company demanding repairs, or taking that close of a look. Unless you’ve had claims & they came out to the house? Is this typical? We’ve never had a claim but insurance hasn’t come out to look at it. I read the fine print & there is nothing like that in the documents.

I have a 50 year metal roof, professionally done, have cut down any tree that I can that could possibly even come close to structures, and I get contacted every so many years to verify that it is still in good shape.
